Architectural & Design Archivist-Student Intern
Are you a creative and passionate Information Studies student dedicated to working in the field of Architecture and Design?
As a member of the Archive team, you will work under the guidance of the in-house Archivist to process and digitize the firm’s physical record collection. The role is based at our Hariri Pontarini Architect offices in Toronto.

As an Architectural & Design Archivist - Student Intern, you will:
• Scan architectural drawings and textual records
• Apply metadata tags to digital assets
• Organize and catalogue materials
• Re-house archival records for long-term storage
As an Architectural & Design Archivist - Student Intern, you will be:
• Enrolled in an Information studies / Archives program at an accredited college or university
• An Individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
• An individual that as effective attention to details
• Familiarity with archival standards and best practices
• Ability to lift and move 35-50 lb containers of archival material
• At disposition amenable to the completion of repetitive tasks such as scanning and data entry
As an Individual you will:
• Be self-motivated and accept responsibility in a positive manner
• Demonstrate a collaborative team approach and attitude
• Provide solutions by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required
• Be flexible and willing to assume a variety of roles and responsibilities, eager to learn and contribute
