Dominique Cheng has over 15 years of industry experience and is currently an Associate at Hariri Pontarini Architects (HPA), designing and communicating design intent to clients via visual renderings and animations, capturing the spatial experience, and narrating the story of a building and its inhabitants. He is an active member of the arts and architectural community. His work has been widely exhibited and published in Site Magazine, LA + Journal, A5 Magazine, Testing Ground Journal, Warehouse Journal, and most recently in a book entitled Drawing Futures: Speculations in Contemporary Drawing for Art and Architecture (UCL Press, 2016). In 2016, his work was awarded an OAA Concept Award and he was a finalist for the prestigious Arte Laguna Prize in Venice.
As a Design Associate, Dominique works collaboratively with clients and complex constituencies to develop fresh and innovative ideas during the design and planning phases that lead to overall project success. Dominique is responsible for taking projects from schematic through to completion, ensuring that HPA’s exacting design standards are realized in every project.
