Johannes, originally from Europe, was inspired by the captivating skylines and energy of North American cities, Johannes' passion for architecture stems from a fascination with the many ways people can interact with the built environment. As an Associate and Senior Architectural Design Manager at HPA, Johannes contributes to the early design stages of high-rise residential projects, helping to bring a project from rezoning into site plan approval and design development. With a keen eye for efficient suite layout design, he envisions spaces that resonate with practical needs and aspirations at a human scale. When crafting suite layouts, he goes beyond aesthetics, meticulously considering how a space would feel and how one would inhabit it.

In Johannes' work, design excellence is not merely a consequence but a deliberate cornerstone of the process. He believes that the technical aspects of architecture – a floor plan or suite layout – can be beautiful when designed with intent and functionality.
