Kathryn Saunders

Kathryn Saunders serves as the Director of Special Projects at Hariri Pontarini Architects. In this role, she is instrumental in steering HPA’s research and development arm which focuses on architectural solutions to climate change on a multitude of scales. She also spearheads the evaluation of AI technologies, and formulates strategies to integrate innovation across the office workflow. At HPA, Kathryn has worked on projects ranging from masterplans to custom homes and is the Design and Project Architect for many custom homes currently under construction.
Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, where she was honored with the Lieutenant Governor General’s Medal, and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Manitoba.
