Pelin is a marketing and business development professional with more than a decade of experience in the AEC industry where she has worked exclusively at top-tier architecture and interior design firms. As HPA’s Director of Business Development , Pelin works with leadership on strategy, messaging, pre-positioning, pursuits/competitions, market reach, and building relationships. What drives her is client satisfaction, brand recognition, and seeing a winning proposal in built form that demonstrates the power of design in making a positive impact in the world. As an Associate, Pelin is a valued member of the firm whose reach extends to mentorship, culture building and serving on both the Sustainability and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committees. 

As the fourth person in Canada to attain Certified Professional Services Marketer designation (joining 900+ others in the world), Pelin consistently evolves her understanding and application of marketing best practices while further demonstrating her specialization in and commitment to architecture. She is Past President of the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ Ontario Chapter where she worked diligently to build community and presence, provide exceptional educational opportunities, and convey the importance of qualified marketers in the industry. An effective communicator, her role is augmented by international academic and work experience in publishing, journalism, and trend forecasting.
